Beth Ain is a writer, writing instructor, and college essay coach based in Port Washington, New York. She is the author of eight books (Random House, Scholastic, Candlewick), a professor of creative writing and children's literature at Hofstra University, and the director of the Roots Teen Leadership Program at Port Washington Library.
